National Grief Support Center

The National Grief Support Center was founded to provide a safe space and support for individuals and families  throughout their grieving process.  We provide group workshops and individual sessions designed to help you heal.  We believe the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is honoring the grieving process and those who have gone before us.  Our goal is to help you through this difficult time.   We look forward to hearing from you!

Grief Recovery Workshop

Grief is caused by various kinds of losses from death of a loved one to the kids moving out. Recover with group support and learn new coping skills.

About Julie

Julie's experience spans years of mentoring individuals through grief, loss, significant life changes and end of life doula services. Julie's education is in Social Work and she is Certified in The Grief Recovery Method.  

Julie's personal experience of loss has influenced her deep understanding of grief and its impact on those experiencing it. This involves the deaths of her brother at the age of 31 from AIDS, her partner at the age of 50 from brain cancer, friends to suicide and cancer, dear pets of the family, and many other family members to illnesses and aging. These experiences collectively drove Julie to educate herself to bring a healing process, and a new tool, to help the grieving community through the use of The Grief Recovery Method.

Julie is married with three children, two cats and a dog. She loves looking at life through the lens of humor, nature through hiking and spending time with her family.
